Fighter Pilot for a Day
The winning bidder (or bidders) do 90% of the flying. People love it. The
locations in Georgia area are out of Oxford and Augusta. Cost to charity is $1,250 all inclusive per
winning bidder. If 2 friends each bid and win, they could fly and "fight"
against each other. Dates are specific to each location.
Imagine yourself scanning the skies in a real military aircraft in
search of an enemy airplane. You spot the bogey at 3 o'clock, break
turn hard and the fight's on. Up, down, and around. Pulling G's, making
quick decisions until you out maneuver your opponent, put the gunsight
pipper on them, squeeze the trigger and guns, guns, guns! The enemy
erupts in smoke and you roll up and away, Victorious!
Your Aircraft: an aerobatic, Italian built fighter with the lines and
handling of an aerial Ferrari with an onboard intercept capability for
acquiring targets beyond visual range. Three digital cameras record
every move and bring back proof of your "guns kill".

Basic Air Combat Maneuvers
Experience firsthand the thrill and excitement of flying a light attack fighter in
air-to-air combat. Phase 1 provides an introduction to the Tactical
Fighter Maneuvers (TFM-l). Fully briefed you'll climb into the aircraft
alongside your instructor. With your hands on the controls you will
engage in multiple "g-pulling" dogfights. Your flight will be recorded
on video tape and reviewed in a flight debriefing.

In this print, the repeated motifs of the fleur-de-lis originate from the artist's hand-carved stamp of the famous French symbol. Repeating the motifs in a Warhol-like fashion, complimentary colors are posed next to each other to highlight their complimentary nature.
Artist Statement: One of my favorite symbols is the French fleur-de-lis. As I have come to love France and its language, I enjoy incorporating French life into my artwork. For this piece, I was going for something that would stand out in a room from the more usual French landscapes or cafe scenes. It is also, indeed, a pop-art piece, but to me still has a classic feel, rejuvenated for the post-modern European living room.

First, enjoy a stay in Manhattan in a 2-bedroom apartment condo on the upper west side (93rd Street and Columbus Avenue). It features a good-size master bedroom, a smallish kids bedroom with loft bed, bed below and pull-out trundle bed below the bottom bed. Large living room, dining room with table seating for eight, acoustic piano, cable TV and internet, beautifully furnished with antiques and built-ins, night doorman, quiet block. For a weekend, (3 days, 2 nights.) Longer stays can also be arranged.
Then, head north and nestle into a piece of paradise up in Woodstock/Saugerties on Blue Mountain Road - 7 minutes to the heart of Woodstock and 5 minutes to the heart of Saugerties. Beautiful (formerly) 160-year-old 4 1/2 bedroom farmhouse (recently completely renovated and rebuilt, so now a brand new house) with huge deck overlooking pond, fully furnished and equipped, nestled on 30 acres (25 wooded) with in-ground pool, BBQ, barn, ponds, streams, open area, hiking trails and/or cross country ski paths, starry nights, near antiquing, boutiques, restaurants and the historic town of Woodstock. The drive from the Upper West Side apartment is about 1 hour 45 minutes.
